A system sized to your shed, installed by your Cryvex team and serviced for life
How Powering On Works
Five steps, one closed loop
-
A Cryvex technician visits, and we use your shed's own data to map its real daytime load. You get a one-page report on what your shed uses and the system that fits it.
-
We design and specify the system with our solar specialists, sized to your milking. Your quote sets out the capital cost, forecast operating-cost saving, payback and asset life, so your rural manager has everything they need.
-
Most major New Zealand banks now offer green or sustainability lending for on-farm solar, often on better terms than standard lending. You borrow from the bank you already deal with, on terms you can test for yourself. We're not a lender and we're not in the credit chain.
-
Installed by the same people who service your vat, then switched on, checked against the design and handed over. Cryvex invoices you directly, and the system is yours outright.
-
Performance checked against the forecast, regular servicing, and 24-hour nationwide call-out for the life of the system.
Capex that pays its way
Powering On is capital spent with discipline: an asset that lowers operating costs from day one, strengthens your farm and sits well with your lender. With the right system and the right loan, energy savings can go a long way toward covering the repayments.
Some solar offers put panels on your land under a long-term power agreement. Before you sign anything, ask:
Who owns the system, and who decides how its power is used?
Can you choose your own power retailer?
What happens if the provider isn't around in year 15?
With Powering On, you own a system sized to run your own shed, you keep the savings, and you choose your retailer. The hardware belongs to the farm and adds lasting value to the property, and any ongoing software or servicing costs are set out up front.
